Despite the demise of many industry-based exhibitions in the United Kingdom and further afield, Precision Ceramics continues to attend at least two major events each year, generally one in Europe and the other in the USA.
For the first time this year we will be extending our campaign even further with a presence at three major exhibitions and one international symposium.
Precision Ceramics on Show begins on Monday 24th April in Hannover, Germany, when we will be exhibiting at the annual Hannover Messe.
From individual components to the complete intelligent factory as well as topical trends such as energy efficiency, lightweight construction and additive manufacturing, Hannover Messe provides a complete picture of the industrial value-adding chain with seven international leading trade fairs at the same time and in the same place.
Hannover Messe covers a wider range of themes and exhibits than any other event – R&D, industrial automation and IT, industrial supply, production engineering and services, as well as energy and environmental technology. The unique access to new products and technologies and a huge international presence attracts exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
At Hannover Messe 2017, we will be highlighting our extensive range of products and services with a comprehensive display of bespoke technical ceramic components manufactured from Macor® Machinable Glass Ceramic, Shapal™ Hi-M Soft Machinable Aluminium Nitride and various other technical ceramic materials including those from the new and extensive range manufactured in-house at our UK headquarters in Birmingham. These include CeramAlox® (Alumina), CeramAlum® (Aluminium Nitride) and CeramZirc® 3YZ, 3YZ Plus and Nano Hip Sintered Zirconia.
The Precision Ceramics Stand can be found in Hall 6 (B16) of Hannover Messe as part of the Ceramic Applications Group.
Ceramics Expo 2017
Just over 4,000 miles away on the other side of the Atlantic and only one day after the curtain goes up on Hannover, Ceramics Expo opens on Tuesday 25th April in Cleveland, Ohio.
Now in its third year, Ceramics Expo is the world’s largest annual free-to-attend expo for the advanced ceramic and glass community.
This massively expanded event stands as a unique showcase for all the latest start-up materials, industrial equipment, technical ceramic components, processing expertise, analysis and testing devices, thermal technologies and precision finishing systems that keep this sector at the forefront of manufacturing advances.
Due to its tightly focused approach and by maintaining a close relationship with all core stakeholders, Ceramics Expo guarantees the participation of respected and innovative suppliers and as the premier US ceramics exhibition, it draws in thousands of genuine decision makers and aims to set the agenda for ceramics manufacturing and applications.
With a similar focus to Hannover but under the banner of ‘Specialist Ceramics for Demanding Applications’ we will be combining a display of traditional ceramics – Macor®; Shapal™ Hi-M Soft; Boron Nitride – with the company’s new and extensive range of in-house manufactured Nano and hipped materials and a brand new range of AlN Powders.
Technical ceramics with a full suite of thermal, mechanical and chemical properties will also be on show together with supporting application advice and proven solutions for high stress, down-hole oil & gas applications, for the exacting requirements of space and for ultra-high vacuum scientific instruments will also be highlighted.
Ceramics Expo is being held at the International Exposition Center in Cleveland, Ohio. The Precision Ceramics USA Booth Number is 127.
With hardly time to catch their breath, our team then flies south to Houston, Texas, for this year’s OTC Conference and Exhibition.
The Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) is where energy professionals meet to exchange ideas and opinions to advance scientific and technical knowledge for offshore resources and environmental matters.
OTC is the largest event in the world for the oil and gas industry featuring more than 2,300 exhibitors, and attendees representing 100 countries. Founded in 1969, OTC’s flagship conference and exhibition is held annually in Houston, the ‘Oil Capital of the World’.
Precision Ceramics will be exhibiting within the UK Pavilion organised by the London-based Energy Industries Council (EIC). Here, on Stand 1639C, the main focus will be on our new range of ultra-high performance hipped ceramics for the most arduous offshore oil & gas applications.
These include CeramAlloy® Alumina/Zirconia Nano HIP, CeramAlox® Alumina Nano HIP and CeramaZirc® Zirconia Nano HIP, all from our new range of in-house manufactured ultra high performance ceramics.
Typical applications include Safety/Downhole Valve Components, Hydraulic Fracturing Components, Valve Poppets & Seats, Pump Cylinder Liners and High Temperature Cable Sleeves.
OTC 2017 takes place at the NRG Park in Houston from 1st to 4th May.
After an extremely hectic two-weeks schedule, there’s a six-month break until the fourth event in this year’s exhibition campaign, the AVS International Symposium & Exhibition.
For 2017, this prestigious annual event is being held in Tampa, Florida and for the sixth year running, Precision Ceramics will be exhibiting.
The AVS International Symposium and Exhibition addresses cutting-edge issues associated with materials, processing, and interfaces in the research and manufacturing communities. The week-long Symposium fosters a multidisciplinary environment that cuts across traditional boundaries between disciplines, featuring papers from AVS technical divisions, technology groups, and focus topics on emerging technologies. The equipment exhibition is one of the largest in the world and provides an opportunity to view the latest products and services offered by over 200 participating companies. More than 2,000 scientists and engineers gather from around the world to attend.
As well as attending the symposium, key members of the PC USA Florida-based team will manage a small exhibition of technical ceramic components for vacuum applications.
AVS 2017 is being held at the Tampa Convention Center from 31st October to 2nd November. The Precision Ceramics booth number is 622.
