Precision Ceramics attends one major European exhibition every year and this year, had a major presence at Hannover Messe 2013 in Hannover, Germany from Monday 8th to Friday 12th April.
With its clear focus on core technologies and services that enable industrial production, innovation and efficiency, the annual exhibition is valued by companies and organisations around the globe as the world’s premier industrial technology showcase.
Precision Ceramics exhibited as part of the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Group, sponsored by UK Trade & Investment.
The company’s stand – Number F09 – had a prime position in Hall 4 and attracted a large number of visitors who were able to see the very latest developments in technical ceramic engineering with an extensive array of Alumina, Boron Nitride, Macor Machinable Glass Ceramic, Silicon Carbide, Silicon Nitride, Shapal Hi-M Soft and Zirconia products on show. On hand to greet them were Steve Swallow, PC’s Managing Director, Geoff Randle (Business Director), Peter Bourne (Sales Manager) and Ben Staniforth (Sales Assistant).
The opening day of the exhibition was attended by Russia’s President Vladimir Putin and German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, who made an extensive tour of the exhibition grounds.
The opening day also witnessed the signing of a unique trade agreement between the German and British Governments, completed on the bonnet of a Union-Jack-decked Mini Cooper (left). Before returning to Berlin, Simon McDonald CMG (right in both photographs), the British Ambassador to Germany, made an impromptu tour of UK Exhibitors in Hall 4 including Precision Ceramics where he was greeted on stand by Geoff Randle and Ben Staniforth (right – 2nd and 3rd from left).
